3 MONTH PICS FOR AUGUST!

Today we celebrate August's 3 month Birthday!
This little man is an amazing baby!
Sweet, happy, easy going, tough guy.
He's starting to talk and smile which melts my heart.
He loves to tell stories back and forth when you talk to him.
And despite the cute pics on his belly...it's his least favorite thing to do.
We work on it daily since we are still working on strengthening the neck muscles so he can sit up soon without support!
His brothers ADORE him to the fullest and kiss the stuffing out of him daily.
We love you August...more than EVER!
And embrace every moment you are awake!

ADVENTURES WITH UNCLE STEVE

We had only a day and a half to show uncle Steve some fun places around Bend.
We wanted to show him Monkey Face Rock and embarked on quite the hike to see it.
The boys did an amazing job hiking total of 4 miles in the HOT sun!
We also took him to see Tumalo Falls before we headed out to Smith Rock.

 Such a beautiful place.

 Hot and sweaty boys!
 Such great little hikers.
 And this guy...PERFECT!
Such a special time with uncle Steve

Crater Lake National Park

This beauty is about 2 hrs from our driveway and worth the trip even if it's just for the day!
We decided to take a risk and do the most strenuous hike in the park.  This was a HUGE risk since we were not overly prepared.
The boys all did fantastic.  Not one complaint the entire way down and the grueling trip back up!
View of the lake through the trees!
This little guy was a trooper!  Dad told stories the whole way up about guys who climb Everest and distracted him from the reality of this climb.  700 feet of elevation in one mile is STEEP!
When we made it down to the bottom, mom and baby found a nice little spot in the shade and the boys had the chance to play in the beautiful water.
Daddy was brave and caught a couple of these cray fish to show the boys!
He also caught a huge bull frog but mom was too far away to take a picture!
 Exploring the cool water!
Dad giving a short lesson on the crayfish.  I think this was the little one he caught!
It was a busy day on the trail!  We will come back again right before they close and take the boat ride and explore the lake from the bottom up!
We call this guy AMAZING for so many reasons.  Happy and chill as long as his tummy is full and diaper is clean!
Due to fires in the area the sky was hazy and the lake didn't carry on the gorgeous blue color it is known for but we will back soon!
Almost back up to the top!
It was a quick trip but worth it!  See you again in about a month!
