Easter morning we began our trip to MN.
All 3 boys ready to go!
I'm writing this blog 9 days later since I finally have Internet. The boys all did amazing this entire trip.
We decided to do 400 miles a day and it turned out to be just perfect!
We stopped at 150 miles and took a nice long break and then another break at 300 and then finished the drive to our location each day.
It was so nice to have the camper trailer to take breaks in and have our own food with us to eat.
Taking a break with the Columbia River in the background.
Day 1 we made it to Coeur d'Alene, ID. The boys discovered their Easter baskets in their beds when we arrived.
The campground had a nice indoor pool and we made it just in time to swim for 30 minutes before they closed. It was a great way to end our first day.
Sawyer
Canyon
Canyon loves to read at night especially in his little bunk with its very own light:)
Sawyer usually falls asleep within seconds of hitting his pillow.
Day 2 breakfast before heading to Bozeman, MT.
When we got to the campground in Bozeman, the owners gave the boys a ride on the 4 wheeler. Such a wonderful place.
Bozeman is our kind of town!
We found a great little Thai place downtown and had a nice meal.
After eating we discovered this great outdoor gear store with an ultimate man cave in the back full of every animal you could imagine on the walls.
On our way back to OR we will stop here again and surprise the boys with their very own guns.
A picture to remember the store:)
The entire trip August stayed right on schedule with his naps and even slept great in the camper.
Our 3rd day we made it to Wibaux, MT. It was a very small town with a very sketchy RV park but we sure enjoyed exploring the town on our bikes.
Lots of cool buildings.
Old and abandoned.
Trains!
Room to run.
Playing before bed.
My growing boy!
Loved
Day 4 we made it to Fargo! AKA Uncle Steve's house. We stopped in Jamestown on the way and I was able to visit some of my coworkers at the Bank I worked with many many years ago:) We also stopped and hung out with the Sayler clan before arriving in Fargo. So much fun to show the boys...even Greg where I grew up and went to school.
Wrestling with uncle Steve.
Thursday evening we had to say goodbye to daddy. We dropped him off at the airport and then had the chance to see Great Grandma Sims. This was a very special evening for us and we were thankful for the chance to visit with Lynae, Pat, and Roger.
Great Grandma Bernice Sims and the boys!
We love you!
Friday night we went to watch Breanna and Delaney dance!
Delaney got to dance with the only boy in her class.
Way too cute!
I had so much fun watching my little niece.
I could keep her!
And this beauty!
Can't miss her!
Gorgeous red hair!
Saturday morning we all heading to Becker, MN to have lunch with Grandma Sharon!
And Grandpa Keith.
It was special to have Steve and Steph with us for one more day.
It's not that often we can all be together at once.
Delaney dancing with the Texas Roadhouse crew!
August loving his cousin Dominic. Dominic was so good with August during our time with him. Miss all 3 of them bunches already!!
Auntie Steph found the greatest car for August:)
Love her.
