We decided to check this place out when we heard 40,000 migratory birds were visiting.
You never know what to expect when you visit places like this.
What we didn't expect was the beauty of Summer Lake.
For some this may look like weeds and water and that's ok, but for us this scenery is breathtaking.
And when you add this face to it...seriously??

Day 2
Before leaving the next day, we saw a barn off in the distance we wanted to check out.
Inside the barn we were blown away by these two beautiful Great Horned Owls.
The weather was cool and rainy but created another stunning backdrop.

Today we saw SO many amazing birds.
