SATURDAY FISHING AND FRIENDS

The Wizard Falls Fish Hatchery is one of our favorite places to visit.
Last year we missed out on this special day because I was in the hospital with a newborn:)
Sawyer reeling in his big fish!
We were so excited to come this year and thankful Greg was able to take a couple hours off of work to come.  I was very nervous about having to do it myself:)
Sawyer was thrilled to reel in this whopper!
 Proud little boy.

 A beautiful Rainbow Trout.
Since we come here a lot there's a pretty good chance we've fed this giant!
We were starting to get nervous that Canyon wouldn't get a fish.  Each kid is only allowed one fish and we were running out of time.
Sawyer could not put his fish down and made sure to show it off to anyone who would listen to him:)
 Still trying...
 Finally!
 Canyon's fish was beautiful.
We had them weighed and Canyon's was exactly half of Sawyers.  4.6lbs and 2.3lbs:)
Daddy showing the proper way to show it off:)
We can't wait to come back next year!!
Great event with great volunteers and many other activities for kids.
 The gorgeous river.
Later that same day we met our good friends at Meadow Camp for a nice evening picnic.  Josie helping August open his birthday present.
 Enjoying the outdoors.
 Great group of kids.
It was a little smokey due to the Two Bulls Fire but we still managed to have fun.
 I love this family.
Enjoying some hot dogs roasted by the fire.
 My guy.
Jason in the background doing some fly fishing.
 Josie girl.
A great little catch;)
The boys enjoyed playing in the fire pit lighting their sticks on fire and then putting them out in the bucket of water.
 Roasting some marshmallows.
Thanks Jason for this picture.  Suzy is such a special person to me.  I'm thankful daily for your friendship.  It's one of a kind and I'm so blessed to have you in our lives.  Love you and your family to pieces.
The boys woke up early Monday morning on daddy's day off to get their fish ready to eat for dinner later!

They even had an anatomy lesson;)
The fish was super tasty and extra special knowing they caught it.
Really mom??  Put the camera down:)
 Even August enjoyed the fish;)
Homemade "green" fruit Popsicles for dessert!
