DRY RIVER CANYON

It's been a couple of years since we have been here but it's always a great little desert adventure;)
August was delighted to walk a few feet before going in the pack.
The landscape in this canyon is beautiful.
The trees are full of green moss and each one has it's own character.
We found vertebrae and the feather remains of a raptors lunch today.
This is a perfect adventure for kids because it doesn't matter how far you go.
It's fun the entire time.
 Beautiful trees, beautiful boys.
Rocks, glowing grasses, painted hills, sage brush, and the most beautiful trees are everywhere.

A little snack break!

Did I mention how beautiful the trees were???

MONSTER DASH

The boys had a wonderful time participating in the Monster Mile!
 A beautiful Fall morning.
Canyon is an amazing running.  A natural for sure.
I had a blast trying to keep up with my little super heros.
 Sawyer has some serious determination.
It was such a JOY to watch them.
Canyon and Sawyer both finished strong.
 They gave 110%

TUMALO FALLS

Our time with daddy goes by way too fast but I'm thankful we take full advantage of it even during our busy week day's.  Our adventures have changed to more evening adventures but we are embracing it.  Exploring while the sun sets isn't so bad:)
 Tumalo Falls is always beautiful!

You never know what you'll get with the long arm family shot but this one worked out!
 Beautiful Fall colors.
 The gorgeous Falls.
Daddy and August on the top right:)
 Playing in the creek.

They love to be bare foot...brrrrrr!!!

Silly time.  "Mom, look at me!"
Like father like son...scary picture below!

 Daddy making them laugh.
Thankful.

PURE PUMPKIN PATCH BLISS AND MORE

D & D Ranch is a magical place in our eyes.  The pumpkin patch is a favorite but there is always so much more to see and do.
Never ending kisses.  (August decided to eat pavement today leaving a great nose rash for pictures:)
 Sawyer was a bit scared:)
 Mr 900lb Pig!
 Family:)
 My big boys.
 My biggest fan.

 Endless fun!
 Hay maze.
August was loving all the animals.
We were able to see the cutest pigs that were born this morning.
 Searching for the greatest pumpkin.
 Best ride in the house!
The pumpkins didn't stay long in the wagon.  If he could lift it, it went right back on the ground.
 Canyon found his perfect pumpkin.
Sawyer found pumpkins and many bird feathers:)

A busy day of school, conferences, and all the other bazillion things that need to be accomplished on our non traditional weekend.  This was a refreshing way to end it.  Blessed!
