Since Monday would be daddy's only day off this week, we made sure to squeeze in a dose of what we love the most. We set out to find some more Kokanee but we may have been too early this year.
This is a great hike for kids with so much to explore and a short distance to the lake.
Not to mention the beautiful waterfall at the beginning:)
The trail follows the water and the kids love to explore all around it.
The boys had their nets ready just in case a fish swam by:)
Daddy and Canyon crossed over the water and made their own route to the end of the trail.
August had a blast as usual:)
We headed on over to Paulina Lake to see if we could view some big trout!
It looks like the resort is getting ready for some winter visitors:)
The boys saw tons of small fish swimming and a few crayfish.
August saw them too:)
Beautiful scenery.
Determined to catch a fish!
Mom trying hard to get a picture of her boys.
Daddy ALWAYS finds the crayfish!
Protecting his brother from the mean little critter!
The miraculous everyone looking at the camera pic.
This picture captures August's personality.
I think we need a boat mom...
The best family photo...out of about 100 I tried to take:)

Feeding the birdies.
Trying not to be scared;)
Some very nice people let us check out their beautiful brown trout and let Canyon hold it and put it back in the water.
Great evening with the people that fill me with so much LOVE.
