Another weekend gone in a flash!
We pulled Sawyer out of school on Monday and took him
on a family "field trip" to the High Desert Museum.
It was really nice to have him home on Dad's day off. We were so spoiled last weekend having 2 days off in a row with dad without having to do normal weekday stuff!
We can slow our pace down a little and not rush to find time to spend as a family.
Day's like this make it really tough to decide if homeschooling is our best option for all of our kids.
It's a time in our lives we will never get back and we want to cherish it as long as we possibly can.
Right now it's an unknown question what we will do next year but for now we will pray it works itself out...somehow;)
We are really fortunate to have Sawyer in a school we've waited 3 years for Canyon to get into.
He remains on a waiting list but because this boy has some serious brains we wonder if school would hold him back academically.
| It's a funny place to be in but I know and trust we will figure it out when the time comes. |
I'm looking forward to Spring Break next week and we will have 2 MORE days in a row with daddy!!! Oh the possibilities:)
Today we ventured out to Richardson's Ranch!
A long drive but we were excited to dig for thunder eggs!
This was the look on my face when we found out the dig area was closed due to rain!
We knew better to call before heading out here but we left with confidence it would be fine.
We made the best of it and checked out the beautiful Emu's and Peacocks roaming around the Ranch.
We picked out our thunder eggs from buckets instead of digging them. We had them cut open and this is what was inside of them. We also found some petrified wood!
It looks like we have a wonderful excuse to come back!!!
