Paulina Creek Blizzard

Every year we like to visit this beautiful place in the fall with hopes of seeing the Kokanee Salmon Spawning.
We didn't see any spawning salmon but we had a ton of fun navigating through the beautiful green trees.
We always enjoy the waterfall that welcomes us on this little adventure.
What we didn't expect was the cold weather and falling snow.
Thankfully we were prepared with the exception of gloves.
I don't think the boys even noticed the cold;)
One of my favorite parts of this trail is the green moss covering the trees.

I think this is the season of crayfish.  We have been finding them on many of our adventures this year.
August was bundled up and managed to fall asleep despite the blowing snow!

Before heading back to the car we could see the storm coming in a little more.
Thankfully we didn't have too far to go because it began to snow like crazy!!

 Too much fun!!

We think we may have been too early to see the salmon so we will be back in a couple of weeks to try again!
