Trip Home Part 4: BEARS, WOLFS, AND YELLOWSTONE

 We woke up in West Yellowstone and headed to the Grizzly Discovery Center!

 We watched the bears eat and play and waited patiently for Zoo Keeper Kids to start!

 Zoo Keeper Kids was wonderful.  The boys were able to learn all about bears and at the end they would have the opportunity to feed them!

 They waited for the bears to leave the area and went on in.

 Each kid received a small bucket of fruits and vegetables to hide for the bears. 

 The habitat is full of rocks and trees so the bears can work for their food.

 Our little grizzly bear!  What a great program and awesome morning for the boys.

 We left West Yellowstone and headed to Yellowstone National Park.  On our way through the park we stopped to "play" with the buffalo.

 The boys enjoyed their time gathering dandelions and sticks to throw in the creek.

 We enjoyed our time driving through Yellowstone.  We didn't see everything but used our time wisely knowing we had to make it to Jackson Lake before dark.

 We stopped on the way to take a little break and during our time here we had the chance to witness this beautiful Osprey dive down into the water to catch fish.  So glad I had my big lens on. 

 What an amazing sight to witness so close with our own eyes.

Trip Home Part 3: BOZEMAN AND BIRTHDAY BOY

 Thursday morning we found a nice little coffee shop in Medora before heading out to our next destination, Bozeman, MT.  It would have been nice to see more in Medora but we knew our time was limited.  We wanted to arrive in Bozeman later that evening and have the next full day to enjoy Bozeman and celebrate our baby boy's 1st Birthday!

 The drive was great and we arrived in Bozeman Thursday evening in time to have a nice dinner downtown before getting ready for bed.  We started Friday morning by taking our birthday boy out for breakfast!

 We found a great little breakfast place called Nova Cafe.  Awesome food and great coffee:)

 Truth!

 Our next stop was to purchase guns for the boys.  They have been waiting a long time for this day! 

 I'm sure it's one of those days they will tell their children about:)

 We met Tom on our way through to MN when we visited this store.  We knew we would be coming here on our way back home to buy the boys their first guns but didn't know we would have the chance to work with him on our way back.  He gave them lots of little treasures and some shoe boxes to use for target practice.  Thank you for making this so memorable for our boys and daddy too:)

 Walking around downtown was a blast.  We found a really fun toy store and picked out some gifts for August.

 We spent the afternoon at a great park and let the boys run off some energy. 

 We had a great morning and afternoon in Bozeman and decided to drive a few short hours to West Yellowstone for the night.  

 We arrived in West Yellowstone and gave the birthday boy a bath!

 It's unreal to think a year has gone by.  August is such a fun baby.  He's happy, funny, smart, and such a great addition to our family.  He started crawling...yes I said crawling on June 5th and I'm thankful for his stationary self during this trip to MN.  Life would have been so much more difficult with him moving:) 

 The boys were so excited to watch him open his presents.  I can't imagine two better older brothers for him.  They love him SO much.

Trip back home Part 2: MEDORA

 After leaving Fargo, we drove to Dickinson and stopped for a quick break at the Dinosaur Museum.

 A great museum worth stopping at. 

 We arrived at our destination, Medora for the evening and found a nice little park to play at before heading to bed.

 Canyon was not happy to give up "his" swing:)

 Can't get enough of watching them.

A great day of travel with a fun adventure and a nice evening.  

Next stop, Bozeman, MT!
