Last days in MN

The last couple of days before leaving were bittersweet.
We were looking forward to seeing daddy but we were already missing our time with Grandma.  During our visit the boys were able to meet many of their Great Aunts, and all of our cousins.  My mom's family is HUGE and most of them still live in the area.  We talked about my Grandma and Grandpa and the boys were able to see where they were buried.  I never met my Grandpa Hubbard since he passed away the year before I was born but I have such fond memories of my Grandma Hubbard.

And Kathy...what a beautiful woman you are.  My boys were so blessed by you during our time in MN.  Thank you, again and again!!  They still talk about you and Sawyer is still trying to figure out why Canyon had more time with you:)  Thanks for being such a source of joy for my mom.  You love her like she's your own sister and you are so selfless with your time, not just for her but everyone.  Your kids and grandkids are SO blessed!!!!
Every morning August spent his time right here with Grandma and I know each morning Grandma probably still waits for us to walk through the door so she can see her grandboys greet her with smiles and hugs.
Our last morning before heading out.

It didn't hit me until I pulled away just how tough it was to leave.  The tears fell hard but my heart was full of joy that we had this time with them.  So many memories made.
