WEEK 3 BROKEN ARM AND GRANDMA LOVE

I'm not sure how week 3 passed us by so quickly.   Our time here has gone by really fast.  It's crazy to look back at my last post about Mother's Day and the water slide.  We were SO excited to go back to the water slide and had no idea that in just 6 hrs from leaving we would wake up at midnight to a screaming boy who fell out of his bunk bed.  Another trip to the ER where we would find out that Canyon had broken his humerus bone right below his shoulder.

It's been a week and Canyon is doing amazing.  No more pain meds...nothing!  We have stayed close to home this week and have had some visitors.  My Aunt Shirley came with her daughter Vicki and Vicki's grandson to bring donuts and flowers.  They stayed and helped Sawyer put together his puzzle.
It's been wonderful seeing our extended family.
More puzzle time with Grandpa.
It will be very tough for Grandma to say goodbye to this little ham.
He's been loving his snuggle time with her.
He LOVES to walk and will take anyone up on a chance to do it.
Canyon's new bed.  It's the comfy spot to watch a movie.
With August being more mobile, bedtime can be quite the ordeal.  He usually will peak out and I have to continue to lay him back down until he cries/exhausts himself to sleep:)
Sawyer has a mini puzzle he loves to put together in the evening.  It fits perfectly on his little bunk shelf.
Sawyer enjoying the movie with his brother.
Play time!
One arm puzzle maker!
Kefir stach!
Uncle Dale.  (Great Uncle for the boys:)  When we thought of the name August, it became really special after learning that my great grandpa's name was August and my uncle Dale has it as his middle name.
Grandma's famous waffle cookies and whip cream!
Park time.
Canyon testing his abilities with a broken arm.
Impressed:)
Brothers
August adores his Grandpa Keith.
On Saturday evening we made a visit to Emery and Shari's to see their chickens.
The boys has so much fun with Emery.  Emery is my first cousin.
I closed my eyes tightly as Emery raced the boys around in the golf cart.
Beautiful baby geese.
Emery brought out some huge metal swords for the boys to play with.  No injuries...thank goodness!
The boys were in heaven!
Racing golf carts, swords and fire.  No worries right??
So in their element.
Sawyer's new found feather that has not left his hat since!  Thank you Emery and Shari for spending this time with us.  The boys keep asking when we can go again:)
Sunday we went out to Great Aunt Shirley's house and again had SO much fun!  Sawyer (with his feather) found some shells in the water.
Fields of dandelions.
The perfect pistil stick.
We spent most of the day here and had many fun adventures on the golf cart checking out Great Aunt Shirley's land.
I took advantage of the dandelions and did some photos:)
He's such a little poser!
A much needed peaceful day.
My blue eyed boy.
Thankful mom let us take her out to get some photos of her with the boys.
My favorite!

Kisses
We also had the chance to spend more time with our favorite cousin Kathy:)  Thank you for being our photographer so I could be in a few pics with mom:)
While driving around the property we spotted these adorable babies.  If you look really close you can see them poking out of the grass.
We found this "time out" chair.
Thank you Shirley for such a memorable day.  You are one of a kind.  You have always been so special to me as a young girl and now as a woman.  I love that my boys know you and they will forever remember this day at your beautiful place.
